Philippine Airlines, short PAL, is the international airline of the Philippines and was founded in 1941. It is the oldest and still operating strong Asian airline. The Philippines Airline is Headquartered in the Philippine capital of Manila. Its hub is located at its local airport, officially known as Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Each passenger is allowed to carry a carry-on luggage of a total size of 115 cm (L x W x H) with a maximum weight of 7 kg. The exemption limit for carry-on luggage in Economy Class for two suitcases with a total size of 273 cm (L x W x H) and a maximum weight of 46 kg.

Philippine Airlines recommends that passengers check in for domestic flights for two hours and international flights three hours before departure. At the airports of Dubai, Canton, London and New York the counters close at least one hour, at all other airports 45 minutes before the start. Online check-in is available 24 hours a day before the scheduled departure of the airline. This excludes so-called express domestic flights and international connections from the Chinese cities of Xiamen and Jinjiang.
