👜 Baggage regulations at Cathay Pacific
In Economy Class passengers are allowed to carry on board a bag with a maximum weight of 7 kg and a maximum size of 56 x 23 x 36 cm. These carry-on regulations also apply to direct flights between Hong Kong and Qatar. For flights between Hong Kong and New Zealand, carry-on luggage up to 7 kg and a maximum overall size of 118 cm (L x W x H) is allowed. The exemption limit for carry-on luggage is a suitcase that may not weigh more than 30 kg.

Cathay Pacific offers its passengers the following check-in options:
At the counter, at the vending machine, online and on the move. In order to avoid long waiting times at the airport, the airline offers self-check-in at the vending machine. However, this service is only available at selected airports from 48 hours to 50 minutes before departure. Cathay Pacific will provide online check-in 48 hours to 90 minutes prior to departure.
For mobile check-in via smartphone, an optimized website is available at m.cathaypacific.com. On this, travelers can check in two days to 90 minutes before the start. In addition, passengers can also use the in-town check-in in Hong Kong and Kowloon.
