Rome Fiumicino Airport
Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino Airport, Via dell'Aeroporto di Fiumicino 320 - 00054 Fiumicino, Rome, Italy
The largest airport in Italy belongs to the busiest airports in Europe - seeing to the needs of 42 million passengers annually. It's officially named after the famous Italian painter and inventor Leonardo da Vinci.
The airport is known to not be among the most organised ones. There are also not many food options, and very few benches to sit on. However, it's decently clean and offers good Wi-Fi connectivity. There are numerous shops at the airport, allowing you to pass some time while waiting for your flight.
There is a security check for all passengers transferring from non-Schengen countries. If you wish to go to the city, you can go by buses, which stop close to Terminal 2 and 3. In case you are bringing someone here, but you are staying, you can park your car in the Kiss & Go Area, which lets you stay there for 15 minutes for free.
